This 1979 International Harvester Scout II was refurbished under prior ownership with work that involved repainting the body in red as well as installing a black soft top with a folding frame. The seller acquired the truck in 2023 and subsequent service included installing air conditioning, replacing the wiring harness, and resealing the transfer case and various engine components. The truck is powered by a 345ci V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and it is equipped with power steering and power-assisted front disc brakes. The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl along with a four-point roll bar, a fabricated center console, an aftermarket steering wheel and gauges, a Pioneer stereo unit, and kick-panel speakers. The front bumper has a bull bar and LED accessory lights, the rear bumper has a swing-away tire carrier, and additional equipment includes an aluminum radiator, an electric cooling fan, a suspension lift, and 16″ Mickey Thompson alloy wheels.
