This 1968 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup is powered by a 370ci Gen 4
6.0-liter LS Hustler Racing V8 engine backed by a 4L60 automatic
transmission. The dyno test results from Westec estimated an output
at over 450hp. The truck rides on a GSI Machine and Fabrication
chassis equipped with a four-link rear suspension and includes a
full powder-coated suspension system. Stopping power is handled by
Wilwood disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors at all four
corners, and the build is completed with custom Weld alloy wheels
measuring 20 inches in the front and 22 inches in the rear. This
C10 was fully media-blasted and metal-worked prior to its
restoration and is finished in PPG Candy Apple Red Pearlcoat over
Silver Metallic, complemented by Kindig-It Design door handles,
Fesler glass front and rear, and a Brothers one-piece window kit.
The interior features custom black leather bucket seats, power
window switches, an Air Ride Technologies control panel integrated
into the center of the dash, a Boss touchscreen stereo unit and
Vintage Air climate control, along with a 12-volt accessory outlet.
This concours-quality restoration reflects a multi-year build with
comprehensive attention to the chassis, drivetrain, exterior and
interior components.
