This custom 1969 Chevrolet K10 pickup with Cheyenne Super trim is
the product of a professional 2,000-hour frame-off restoration. It
is powered by a 525hp 6.2-liter LS3 engine equipped with Holley
accessory drive, vintage coil covers and a MagnaFlow stainless
exhaust. The engine is backed by a GM Performance 6L80E 6-speed
automatic transmission delivering power to all four wheels via GM's
NP261 HD manual transfer case. It sits atop a modern General Motors
chassis equipped with modern GM factory independent front
suspension and four-link rear with BDS-Fox 4-inch lift and Fox DSC
adjustable coilovers. It is equipped with a power rack & pinion
steering navigating with the 35-inch Yokohama tires. The 18-inch
Fittipaldi wheels are brought to a stop by hydro-boost-assisted
Wilwood 6-piston calipers clamping on 14-inch slotted and drilled
discs. Brake lines and hardware fasteners are stainless steel, with
a modern GM factory fuel tank. The chassis, entire body and
undercarriage were media-blasted and then coated in PPG
corrosion-resistant epoxy. U-POL Raptor coats the undercarriage to
resist all future corrosion. It has been professionally body-worked
and finished with BASF Vision-Plus two-tone Lamborghini Blue and
Ivory. Black Relicate leather and houndstooth finish the interior
with luxury-class materials. Triple-layer wall-to-wall
sound-deadening and heat-shielding work in tandem with a Restomod
Air system to keep the cabin quiet and cool. A custom-designed
center jump seat conceals a "tech hub" console to keep gear
wirelessly charged, safe and organized. The Dakota Digital HDX
cluster maintains the stock OE appearance, while a Pioneer 9-inch
touchscreen is integrated into the dash with a custom design by
VoCKal to keep an authentic GM design appearance. Other interior
features include power windows, a rear-view backup camera, JBL
subwoofer, Kenwood speakers and modern cruise control. Mil-spec
Techflex woven wrap looms the American Autowire body harness and
ECM harness with Deutsch connectors throughout. This fresh
Resto-Mod build was completed in November 2024 with 200 tuning
miles driven since completion.
