This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible is powered by a
502ci V8 engine equipped with L88 induction and backed by an
automatic transmission. The power plant is equipped with Corvette
billet valve covers, a forged steel crank, forged pistons and
connecting rods, a hydraulic roller cam, hardened seats, an
Edelbrock dual-plane intake manifold, Hedman headers, MSD ignition,
a Be Cool aluminum radiator and March billet pulleys, producing
510hp and 570 ft/lbs of torque. The factory M35 2-speed Powerglide
automatic transmission and features a 3.90 rear end along with side
pipes. Supporting systems include an aluminum radiator, Vintage Air
climate control and four-wheel power disc brakes. The chassis is
fitted with 18-inch Intro forged aluminum wheels and Nitto 225/40
tires, and the car has been fully dyno-matted for sound control.
Exterior and interior features include its factory-correct Rally
Red finish, factory-correct red vinyl bucket seats, functional
five-slot fender vents, a fixed 31-inch radio antenna, redesigned
1967 seat structures, relocated parking brake between the seats,
removed passenger hand grip, dual taillights and backup lights
positioned above the license plate. The vehicle retains its blue GM
Mark of Excellence door-latch stickers and includes its original
1967 owner's manual. Interior equipment also includes an upgraded
Pioneer audio system. This Corvette is identified as the 16,866th
produced for the model year, one of 2,324 built with the M35
Powerglide automatic transmission, one of 4,209 with side pipes,
one of 5,747 with power steering and one of 2,341 produced in Rally
Red. It was originally delivered with the L75 327ci 300hp engine
before its Resto-Mod conversion and originated from the state of
Washington.
