1964 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe- Beautiful original Chevy with only 73K miles powered by a 300HP 327 V-8 and shifted by a 4-Speed manual transmission. Striking original color combination of Ermine White with an Azure Aqua top. According to the original broadcast sheet and original paperwork, car was built in the Doraville, Georgia assembly plant, then delivered to D and T Motors in Halifax, Virginia. Also documented is the fact that Mrs. Lacy White Powell of Halifax, purchased the car from D and T on June 25, 1964. According to the broadcast sheet, the car was equipped with the following options from the factory:
Tinted windshield, front seat belts, padded dash, tutone paint, push button AM radio with rear seat speaker and rear-mounted antenna, tachometer, power steering, glove box & trunk lamps, o/s rear view mirror, wire covers, 327-300HP engine, and 4-speed transmission. As was the fad in ’64, Ms. Lacy added fender skirts, floor mats, and gas door guard at the dealership.
Car starts, runs, drives, and stops well. Original interior and carpet is fantastic and everything is in working order. Chevy is ready for cruises, shows, or simply to admire as garage art.
