This 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 roadster was delivered new to Bob
Pforte Motors in Marianna, FL, and subsequently remained in
Pforte's private collection for years. Power comes from the
8.0-liter OHV V10 engine, factory-rated at 400hp and 465 ft/lbs of
torque, paired with a Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission and a
limited-slip differential. Designed in-house at Chrysler by Tom
Gale, the Gen I Viper features composite body panels mounted over a
tubular steel space-frame chassis, delivering a raw and
race-inspired driving experience that helped cement the model as a
modern American performance icon. Finished in Viper Black over a
Quartz leather interior, this RT/10 is equipped with fog lights, a
removable soft-top, removable rear window, zip-up vinyl side
windows, tonneau cover and the signature side-exit exhaust outlets.
Handling is supported by power-assisted rack & pinion steering,
four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel vented disc brakes
with RT/10-branded calipers up front. Inside, the Quartz leather
bucket seats are complemented by a matching dashboard, center
console and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, an
AM/FM stereo, leather-wrapped shift knob and a leather-wrapped
steering wheel positioned ahead of a 180-mph speedometer and
6,000-rpm redline tachometer. Auxiliary gauges for coolant
temperature, oil pressure, fuel level and voltage sit atop the
center stack. This Viper rides on its original 17-inch tri-spoke
alloy wheels fitted with Michelin XGT Z tires measuring 275/40
front and 335/35 rear. The sale includes the original Window
Sticker, which shows a price of $58,500. 222 actual miles.
