This 1964 Pontiac Bonneville Sport Coupe has undergone a meticulous
five-year, concours-level nut-and-bolt restoration, completed to
exceptionally high standards. Power comes from its 348hp, 389ci
Tri-Power V8 engine, coded 34N, paired with a 4-speed Super
Hydra-Matic transmission. A completely rust-free California car,
the restoration consumed over 2,000 hours and began with full
disassembly. The body was chemically stripped to bare metal before
being expertly finished in Pontiac Marimba Red basecoat/clearcoat.
The chassis and undercarriage were likewise fully restored and
refinished. All exterior brightwork was replated or professionally
polished, returning the car to show-quality condition throughout.
The interior is completed in a striking tri-color red and burgundy
finish, beautifully complementing the Bonneville's premium design.
Factory options include a deluxe steering wheel, remote
fender-mounted side mirror, factory tachometer, tinted windshield,
seat belts, dome light and dual exhaust. For enhanced drivability
and monitoring, retro Stewart-Warner gauges for oil pressure,
temperature and voltage were installed. Originally sold by John
Hine Pontiac in San Diego, CA, this Bonneville retains significant
documentation, including the original Window Sticker, warranty
booklet with Pontiac Ident-O-Plate and the original owner's
registration.
