This restored 1967 Jaguar XKE Series I Fixed-Head Coupe is a
matching-numbers example finished in its factory exterior color of
Opalescent Maroon over a beige leather interior. Restored in the
early 2000s by renowned Jaguar specialist Steve Gordon of Vintage
Auto Service (Emeryville, CA), this XKE has since resided in
discerning private collections. Power comes from Jaguar's
celebrated 4.2-liter XK inline-6 engine, introduced in 1965,
featuring improved drivability and torque along with a fully
synchromesh gearbox, enhanced braking and improved electrics
compared to earlier cars. For comfortable touring, a discreet
Vintage Air system has been fitted and can be removed for concours
presentation. Recently, this XKE has received more than $10,000 in
additional mechanical and cosmetic servicing, including dry-ice
undercarriage cleaning and concours-level paint correction and
detailing. It is accompanied by restoration photos and receipts,
mechanical service records, a partial tool roll, owner's manual and
a copy of the Jaguar Heritage Certificate.
