This custom 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS is powered by a
turbocharged 6.0-liter LS engine built for boost, paired with a
4-speed automatic transmission. The build began in June 2023 and is
centered around a fully boxed UMI-equipped chassis finished in
Cosmic Silver, featuring rack & pinion steering, a narrowed 9-inch
rear end with Truetrac differential and 3.70 gears, and Wilwood
Superlite brakes on performance spindles. The engine starts with an
SDR 6.0 short-block featuring billet mains. It is fitted with
Chevrolet Performance LS3 cylinder heads, a 226/230 camshaft on a
113 LSA, chromoly pushrods, Shaun's custom billet intake, Werner
billet valve covers, Holley accessory drive and a Precision 76mm
turbo with Turbosmart controls. Custom stainless hot-side turbo
plumbing and exhaust complete the forced-induction system. The body
received new quarter-panels, trunk floor and mini-tubs to
accommodate wide rear tires. Custom HOC paint was applied following
extensive metal and body refinement. Modified door handles, bumpers
and window hardware were powder-coated and finished in satin black.
All exterior trim was CAD-modeled, 3D-printed for test fitment,
then machined from 6061 billet aluminum. The Ultra Carbon decklid
is finished in matching Candy paint while allowing the carbon weave
to remain visible. One-off flush-mount glass was installed by Eddie
Kotto. The Chevelle rides on custom-fit Esajian billet wheels with
235/35ZR19 front and 315/30ZR20 rear Nitto NT555 tires. The
interior features premium TMI components, a custom-wrapped dash,
Vintage Air climate control through Restomod Air vents and Dakota
Digital instrumentation. The center console includes a configurable
concealed-carry compartment and an integrated humidor.
