model. Powered by a 468 cubic inch big block V8 engine paired with
a four-on-the-floor manual transmission. Equipped with power
steering, power brakes, and cold A/C. Chrome front and rear
bumpers, headlight bezels, hood pins, and a distinctive cowl
induction hood operated by engine vacuum. Dressed in arctic white
with a black vinyl top and black interior. Riding on Cooper Cobra
white letter tires and Chevrolet wheels with center caps and beauty
rings. A nice shine to the paint with minor imperfections. The
interior features Heavy Chevy door panels, a bench seat with a
floor shifter, digital aftermarket stereo (note the volume knob is
on the right side). A minor flaw is noted on the rear seat. Working
aftermarket gauges including a tachometer, oil pressure, water
temperature, voltmeter, and fuel gauge. The AC blows cold.
Significant maintenance and upgrades within the last year include a
new clutch, newer brake booster, master cylinder, proportioning
valve, brake calipers, flex lines, a new clutch, fresh coolant, and
new lower front ball joints. Additional upgrades include a single
wire alternator, three-core aluminum radiator with dual electric
fans, newer heater core, fuel pump and sending unit, and ignition
components like a new distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. The
exhaust system features a 3-inch stainless steel dual exhaust with
headers. On the road the Chevelle demonstrates strong throttle
response, responsive power steering, and solid braking.
