This custom 1969 AMC Javelin SST is powered by a rebuilt high-performance 343ci V8 engine that has been bored and stroked and upgraded with Holley Sniper fuel injection, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock valve covers, an Edelbrock air cleaner and MSD electronic ignition. The engine is paired with a custom 4-speed automatic transmission. Additional powertrain components include an aluminum radiator and a dual-exhaust system. Power steering and power disc brakes support drivability. The SST features a restored factory-optioned houndstooth interior along with a Quicksilver shifter and an SST Rally wood-grain steering wheel. Exterior equipment includes Torq Thrust five-spoke wheels with red line radial tires, an SST black body panel Rally stripe and its original-style vinyl top. The vehicle was refinished during restoration and retains its fastback configuration. Additional features include a custom stereo system.
