This 1955 Ford F-100 custom pickup is powered by a 460ci engine
paired with a C6 automatic transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end.
The truck received a full body-off-frame restoration with a chassis
prepared for Pro-Touring use, and the underside was finished to the
same standard as the exterior. The suspension and chassis were set
up for performance driving with all systems restored or upgraded
during the build, and the braking components were updated to
support the Pro-Touring configuration. The vehicle has been
maintained with regular oil changes and lubrication, started every
45 days and run for 10-15 minutes, and has been kept in
climate-controlled, air-conditioned storage. The exterior is
finished in Daytona Sunset PPG basecoat/clearcoat and includes a
tilt front end, extensive billet components, a custom oak show bed
and 18-inch custom Boyd Coddington wheels. The interior features
leather upholstery, Teas seats, an Ididit tilt steering column, air
conditioning, power windows that were repaired in 2019 and
seatbelts installed in 2015. Additional work was performed by
Hotrod Couture, who went over the truck in great detail.
