This custom 1972 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a freshly built
406ci V8 engine mated to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission
with a Hughes 3000 stall lock-up converter, transmission cooler,
deep sump pan and Dakota Digital shift indicator. The engine
features Edelbrock E-Tec 200 aluminum heads, Air Gap aluminum
intake, Quick Fuel 750-cfm carburetor, Lunati Bracket Master II
cam, 1.6 roller rockers, Hooker Super Comp headers, MagnaFlow
custom dual exhaust, MSD Pro Billet HEI distributor, Melling
high-volume oil pump, Powermaster high-torque starter and Evans
high-performance waterless coolant. Cooling is handled by a Griffin
aluminum radiator with a custom dual electric fan shroud and Dakota
Digital programmable fan controller. Supporting components include
Turn One power steering, Wilwood drilled and slotted four-wheel
power disc brakes with Wilwood aluminum hubs, front brake Line
Lock, adjustable frame connectors, QA1 coilover springs and
Competition Engineering Slide-A-Link adjustable traction bars. A
custom aluminum driveshaft with 1350 U-joints and a Richmond 3.73
rear gear complete the drivetrain. Fuel is supplied through a Tanks
Inc. EFI-ready tank. The exterior is finished in gorgeous Pearl
Orange basecoat/clearcoat with ghost racing stripes and Z/28
badging. This car is riding on 18-inch Billet Specialties wheels
wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force radials. The interior features newer
custom double-stitched black and orange Alcantara upholstery,
Alcantara door panels, updated carpet and a clean, show-ready
presentation throughout.
