This custom 1955 Ford Crown Victoria is powered by an upgraded 292
Y-block V8 engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission with
overdrive. It is equipped with a 312 manifold and an Edelbrock
carburetor converted to a 12-volt electronic ignition and was
recently updated to front disc brakes and a power master cylinder.
It features rebuilt steering gear and two-speed electric wipers.
The front and back seats were recently recovered, and it had a
minor tuneup that included carburetor adjustment, new plugs,
antifreeze changed and replaced, all fittings lubed, oil and filter
changed, and transmission and rear-end fluid filled. The recipient
of a frame-off restoration, this car is finished in its original
factory colors of Regency Purple and Snowshoe White with a black
and white interior.
