INTRODUCTION: Real SS 350, code X55, real Hugger Orange code 72, #s
match motor, factory a/c in a 69 Camaro convertible! This is a home
run right here! It has all that you want and more than you
need.
EXTERIOR: This body's looking really good! It is nice and straight;
it's even smooth along the bottoms. It fits nicely and is decked
out with a cowl hood and spoilers. Repainted its original Hugger
Orange and the paint is polished very smooth and glossy. The hockey
stick stripe is painted on smooth to the touch. The chrome and trim
is shiny and straight, the windshield is very clear, weatherstrips
have been replaced. The power black convertible top is in excellent
shape and it has a boot for when it's down. It is rolling on a set
of classic 15 inch rally wheels with shiny trim and they're wrapped
in BFG tires.
INTERIOR: Inside is pretty darn nice too! It has the deluxe
interior which includes molded door panels and the seats have the
nostalgic houndstooth upholstery (stays cooler in the sun too). It
also features a factory tachometer and gauges in the console. That
AM/FM radio actually is upgraded with modern internals including
Bluetooth! It is in overall very good condition and stock from the
seatbelts to the staple shifter.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: There are some very nice features going on in
here! It has a # matching original motor, factory air conditioning,
power steering and brakes. The 350 was rebuilt and balanced by
Borowski Race Engines. It has Scat rods, Howard hydraulic roller
cam, roller tip rockers, completely rebuilt heads and is probably
making more than its original 300hp. The a/c had a recent major
service and is ready to be enjoyed. It has a stock and clean
appearance. The manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner, fuel filter,
radiator, shroud, hood insulation are all correct.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted
slick, inside is solid with a spatter finish paint. It has a
reproduction trunk mat and weatherstrip, a rally wheel for a spare
and a trunk light.
UNDERSIDE: It's very clean and restored to original condition. The
steering and suspension has been rebuilt as needed and was recently
inspected. The brakes have been redone, and have discs in front,
new brake lines and e-brake cable. It has the optional chambered
exhaust system providing a great sound. The fuel system was
replaced including the tank and the lines. Looking up at the motor
it is clean Chevy Orange, the starter looks fresh and it has a
flywheel cover. The transmission is the heavy duty Turbo 400
automatic and the rebuilt driveshaft connects to a 12 bolt rear
end. The floors have been replaced. There's no rust and they're
painted gloss black.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: It's going to be difficult to replace this if you miss
it, there are others but not a # match SS350 with air and nice
options like his one has. Contact sales today!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
