1982 Chevrolet Corvette C3 (Collector's Edition) in Newaygo, Michigan

This is an all original, and excellent condition 82 Collector Edition, which sits on the original Goodyear GT2 tires. 1982 marked the final year of the “Shark” body style that was introduced in 1968. Manual transmissions were not offered in 82, the first time since 1955.

The Bowling Green KY plant, which closed in October of 1982, built the C3 Corvette from 1968-1982. 

To mark the end of the third-generation Vette, Chevy covered the 1982 Collector Edition in silver-beige metallic paint with pinstripes and fade-away striping on the hood, fenders, and doors.
