This 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ is a beautiful Jeep that recently
(completed last year) underwent a full frame-off restoration.
Nearly every nut and bolt was and every item was new, rebuilt, or
refurbished. This Jeep stands tall in person or in pictures and it
was done right. The body is super clean and straight. This was an
Arizona Jeep, so all of the metal was clean and it is an all metal
Jeep. It was totally stripped down and professionally painted
"Electric Green" and the paint looks awesome. When the body was
removed from the frame for paint the underside was bed-lined and
the frame was blasted and painted. The underside looks amazing and
it was done to last a long, long time. It had all new lights
installed, new seals, new body mounts, and they added extended
fender flares. It has a new bestop soft top as well.
The interior was also restored. The seats were completely redone in
leather with Ostrich inserts. The inside floor was also bed-lined.
They added a locking center console and redid the dash with new
dash pad. New Steering wheel. Everything was dis-assembled and
cleaned. It does have a factory roll bar too. The headlights,
taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The
gauges all work. The horn, windshield wipers, and heat are also
working. It also has an aftermarket stereo.
This Jeep runs and drives as good as it looks and mechanically is
excellent. The engine was replaced with a 4.0L from a 1997 and it
has around 70,000 miles on it currently. It was tore down, gone
through, and resealed before it was installed. So it has new
gaskets, new hoses, new belts, complete tune-up, new waterpump, new
thermostat, new sensors, new engine mounts, new alternator, new
power steering pump, and new custom exhaust. They also added a cold
air intake. The transmission is the AXIS 5 speed manual that shifts
great. There was a new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing,
and slave cylinder installed when the engine was put in. It is
mated to the np231 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should.
The rear axle is a Dana 35 that has new seals and 3.73 gears. The
front axle is a Dana 30 High Pinion with new seals and 3.73 gears.
The brake system was totally redone with new Booster, new master
cylinder, new lines and hoses, new front rotors, calipers , and
pads. The rear has new drums, cylinders, shoes. The lift is a 4
Inch all spring with new shocks and new poly bushings. This is all
sitting on Mickey Thompson Aluminum Wheels with new General Grabber
ATX 33 Inch tires. This is an excellent build that can't be done
for the prce we are asking for this vehicle.
