Zoom Classic Cars presents this professionally built 1973 Chevrolet
Camaro Z28 Tribute Coupe. Beautiful split bumper car whose build
was started with a completely rust free 1973 Camaro LT/RS with
307CI with 25K original miles and from there was rotisserie
restored in 2014 into a high-powered Z28 Tribute using original
parts from an actual Z28 Car. Custom built 350CI 4 Bolt engine with
Howards Cam, Skip White rotating assembly that has been stroked out
to 383CI and features all the best components including 22 cc
dished pistons, forged scat crank, Crevite bearings, H beam rods,
Roller Rockers, Melling HV pump and chain, 1970 Z28 Heavy Duty
Headers, all assembled with ARP fastener system. MSD Ignition,
Crosswind intake with correct spacer, Demon Carb, all Bow Tie (BT)
overdrive plates and Throttle Vector linkage with cables, March
Pulley system, banjo pump, all new wiring harness and power master
alternator. Aluminum radiator rated to 700HP with Devale fans and
shrouds with digital controller. Engine is coupled with a 700R4
Transmission with adjustable overdrive built by Barry Santos from
Santos Racing with BT overdrive linkage, custom driveshaft, Billet
yokes front and rear with B & M overdrive controller and Cooler.
3600 RPM stall converter. Car has POSI and limited Slip
differential with 3:73 Richmond gears with Billet girdle, heavy
duty 28 Spline HD axles. Car cruises comfortably at 19 RPMS at 70
MPH. Only 1500 miles on the build since completed in 2014. The
completely rust free car including all fenders and floors was
completely sand-blasted primed and beautifully painted in an the
original B24 Blue. All prep and paint work done with RM Products.
All the body panels on the car are laser straight and the paint
with painted black stripes is still in beautiful condition. Rare
1970 Z28 rear wing. All the of the bumpers have been professionally
rechromed by New England Chrome in Hartford CT. Interior is in
excellent condition and features, Dakota Digital gauges, 3 Speed
Staple Shifter with 1970 Z28 Console, original 1 year only Z28
seats with shoulder harnesses, original headliner, Z28 steering
wheel with Z28 quick ratio steering box. Undercarriage is in
excellent condition with original floors, custom frame rails all
3/16 plated and connected for a clean look, complete Hotchkis TVS
system, Heavy duty front and rear Z28 brakes, all new lines and
tubing throughout. Magnaflow exhaust with 3 inch custom exhaust
pipes behind the rear wheels. Car rides on the correct date coded
Z28 wheels with original trim rings and center caps and are mounted
with period correct Firestone White Letter Wide Oval 60 bias ply
tires. This is a very well built Tribute with an exceptional level
of detail throughout that runs, drives and handles very well.
Everything works on the car as it should. Owner removed the AC
system but has all of the parts that will go with the car. Radio
was also removed and will need to be replaced by new Owner.
Everything is in place to plug and play. Car has always been
garaged and is stored in MA with clean MA title in the Owner's
