This 1957 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ25 is powered by a professionally
rebuilt 3.9-liter engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission
and features a rebuilt original Aisan carburetor, new clutch,
reconditioned and pressure-tested fuel tank, new fuel lines, new
fuel pump, remanufactured starter, new radiator and a fully
functional four-wheel-drive transfer case. The ignition system uses
an electronic distributor and the vehicle is equipped with a new
exhaust system. Both differentials were fully serviced, along with
the knuckles, bearings and seals. The chassis received new
bushings, tie rods, new leaf springs and shackles, new shocks and
new brakes on all four corners, along with a hidden power brake
booster mounted on the frame under the driver's seat. It also
received new wheels, tires and cap covers. The body features a
brand-new steel tub from Fabrilatas with built door frames, a
soft-top structure, collapsible spring-loaded seat mounts,
upholstered leather seats and a custom soft-top. The frame was
prepared and refinished before assembly, and the vehicle was
completed with a PPG-finished paint application and a new
electrical harness throughout.
