This custom 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190B is powered by a dyno-tuned GM
small-block 355ci V8 engine equipped with Hedman headers, a Holley
Street Avenger carburetor, Edelbrock water pump and intake
manifold, a Powermaster starter and a Powermaster 150-amp black
alternator, with fuel supplied by a Tanks Inc. fuel tank and
Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump. The engine is backed by a 3-speed
automatic transmission Lokar shifter, and the car rides on an
upgraded Mustang II front suspension with Ridetech StrongArms and
air bags, complemented by rear four-link bars and additional air
bags to provide adjustable ride height. Stopping power comes from
Wilwood brakes at all four corners. The vehicle was purchased as an
unfinished project and subsequently completed and refined, and it
was featured on the television show "Pawn Stars." The interior
features a reported $12,000 custom black suede interior installed
over custom-made front seats and a matching rear seat, along with a
custom console that incorporates the air-lift controller as well as
the Lokar emergency brake and shifter. The cabin is fully covered
with Dynamat for sound and thermal control and is equipped with
Dakota Digital gauges to monitor engine vitals, a fully hidden
Bluetooth stereo system and a remote battery cutoff switch located
in the trunk. Exterior modifications include shaved door handles
with electric door poppers and integrated air-ride components
contributing to its lowered stance and overall custom presentation.
