This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette custom widebody topless roadster,
nicknamed "F-61," is powered by a BluePrint 427ci LS3 V8 engine
paired with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. It rides on a
Roadster Shop cantilever chassis with an independent rear
suspension and stainless exhaust, and features power steering and a
tilt wheel. The body was widened to accommodate the large wheels
while maintaining proportionate styling and improved handling.
Stopping power is provided by carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes and the
car rolls on one-off three-piece custom wheels. The interior was
stretched to comfortably accommodate 6-foot or taller drivers and
is finished in full custom leather by Ron Mingus with a custom
dash, Bluetooth stereo and upgraded instrumentation. Finished in
Ferrari DiGrezio Silver, the Corvette features a fully custom
widebody design and retains its original VIN Tag.
