This custom 1974 Ford Bronco underwent a full frame-off restoration
and custom build by Birdsall Classics of Broomfield, CO. This
lifted, uncut Bronco (known as a "LUBR") is powered by a new Sniper
2 fuel-injected 5.0-liter GT-40 aluminum head Ford Racing
Performance crate engine paired with a 4R70 4-speed overdrive
automatic transmission and a Dana 20 twin-stick transfer case.
Power is delivered to rebuilt differentials consisting of a Dana 44
front and big bearing Ford 9-inch rear, both equipped with sway
bars for improved driving stability. The original chassis was
media-blasted and powder-coated before receiving a Wild Horses
2.5-inch suspension lift with Bilstein shocks, power steering and
power disc brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder. The original 1974
body was fully restored and finished in its factory-correct Candy
Apple Red (Viking Red). The metalwork included complete rust repair
before the body was Raptor-lined inside and underneath and finished
with a three-stage PPG Deltron basecoat/clearcoat system. This
Bronco rides on 15-inch aluminum modular wheels wrapped in
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires and includes a fully restored
Wimbledon White hardtop. The custom black leather interior features
matching door and quarter panels, premium woven poly-weave carpet,
a Tuffy center console and power windows. Safety features include a
full family-style six-point roll cage with front and rear
three-point seat belts. Comfort and technology upgrades include
Vintage Air climate control, a Classic Instruments gauge cluster,
tilt steering column, RetroSound stereo system, a completely
insulated and Killmat-lined cabin including the hardtop and a new
American Autowire wiring harness. Every component in this build is
new, with no reused or reconditioned parts. This uncut,
show-quality Bronco has been driven approximately 200 miles since
the build was completed in November 2025.
