A total of over 1.6 Million Trailblazers were sold from model year 2002 until early 2009. It was based on a truck platform known as the GMT360 with all models having four-wheel-drive with the exception of the SS that featured a standard AWD system. The SS model which debuted in 2006 and would be built until the very end of the run would be the first SUV to feature the "Super Sport" badging with just over 26,000 units being produced in 3 � years. These were equipped with a very stout 6.0 Liter LS2 producing right around 400 HP and 400 ft lb of torque. Yeah, the same engine that was in the 2005-2007 Corvette with a little more of a restrictive exhaust. Alright, if you are looking for one of the nicest examples that has been driven over the last nearly 18 years then your search is over.
