1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. This very special car retains its
numbers matching 340 Six Pack and is documented with a broadcast
sheet. It is also listed in the TA Registry. It is extremely
special to have a T/A in a desirable color, with a broadcast sheet,
listed in the registry, retaining its born with engine, original
six pack carburetors included, an original hood included, and loads
of paperwork and receipts. That is what we have here! This
Challenger was a Virginia car that was brought to Ontario and
underwent a nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration from 2003-2005.
This car retains its original panels, with the exception of a trunk
pan. The body is straight with good gaps and excellent paint. The
car is B3 Light Blue which was the original color. The TA registry
lists only 28 known B3 Blue Challenger T/A's. The Challenger Trans
Am was a one year only special production performance car built for
Dodge's participation in the Trans Am racing series. These cars had
a unique visual identity among Challengers. Special features
include low restriction side exit exhaust, a fiberglass fresh air
hood, a fiberglass ducktail spoiler, and side stripes. These cars
also came with power front disc brakes, heavy duty suspension,
3.55:1 rear gears, and a 340 six pack engine. The engine in this TA
was professionally rebuilt by Don Palmer Racing in 2005 at a cost
of over $7000. Don Palmer is a legend in Ontario for building
excellent, high powered, reliable engines. This numbers matching
340 dyno'ed at 368hp, well above its original 290HP rating. The
engine has an aftermarket Holley six pack setup that is tuned
perfectly for street driving. All three original carburetors are
boxed and included in the sale! This Challenger has a H6B5 blue
vinyl interior. The interior presents in excellent condition. The
seats show no wear. The gauges are clear and functional. A jack and
spare tire can be found mounted properly in the trunk. The engine
bay is very clean and proper. The floors and undercarriage are
perfect and are just as clean as the top side! This is an excellent
opportunity to purchase a restored, documented, original engine,
