This 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 two-door hardtop is powered by a
matching-numbers 409ci engine producing 425hp and equipped with NOS
carburetors, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The
drivetrain received a complete rebuild including the engine,
transmission and rear end. The exhaust system consists of a Gardner
setup connected to the original cast-iron headers. A frame-off
restoration was completed, during which the car retained most of
its original sheet metal, with only the trunk pan, hood and decklid
replaced. The exterior is finished in red, and the interior
features a matching red SS presentation, restored to original
specification. Additional components include NOS poverty caps,
rounding out a restoration with thousands invested, returning this
Impala SS to its factory-correct condition.
