This custom 1966 Chevrolet Corvette was rotisserie-restored and
built by D&D Specialty Cars. It is powered by an LS3 crate
engine paired with a GM 4L60E automatic transmission, and equipped
with factory-style side pipes and an aluminum radiator. The chassis
incorporates custom suspension components, along with Wilwood disc
brakes featuring Wilwood calipers and slotted and drilled rotors,
and it rides on custom billet wheels fitted with custom-selected
tires. The exterior is finished in PPG paint applied during
restoration, while the interior features a full custom Mercedes
leather cabin, German wool weave carpeting, custom seats, a custom
trunk area and a custom floor area. Additional equipment includes
power windows, power steering and a Vintage Air climate-control
system providing both heating and air conditioning. This vehicle
incorporates numerous custom-made parts designed specifically for
its construction, and documentation includes all invoices, totaling
more than $200,000. It was restored with a focus on precision
fitment and finish.
