This custom 1972 GMC Jimmy is powered by a Gen V 6.2-liter LT1 V8
engine equipped with a BTR Stage 2 camshaft paired with a 6L80E
automatic transmission featuring a Circle D 3,200-rpm stall
converter. Induction is handled by a Borla stack injection system
managed by a Holley Terminator Max ECU that controls both fuel
management and transmission functions. Supporting components for
the engine and transmission include a Boyd fuel tank, Holley
accessory drive serpentine system, and Lokar pedals and dipsticks.
The chassis is upgraded with a Level 3 QA1 full suspension package
incorporating a QA1 front crossmember and a custom-built frame
stiffener to enhance rigidity and handling. Braking is provided by
Wilwood 6-piston calipers with 14-inch rotors at the front and
rear, working with a Powermaster billet X master cylinder. Exhaust
gases exit through a custom stainless Borla exhaust system with
custom short-tube headers and XR1 mufflers. Cooling is supplied by
an AFCO radiator with a dual electric fan setup. The custom
interior features a 1959 Impala dash fitted with Dakota Digital VHX
59 Impala gauges, along with a Vintage Air hot rod air-conditioning
system. Exterior and lighting details include Holley RetroBright
headlights and United Pacific LED taillights, combined with an LS
Fabrication hidden gas filler for a cleaner appearance. The Jimmy
rides on staggered U.S. Mags wheels measuring 20 inches in the
front and 22 inches in the rear. This custom SUV integrates
late-model LT1 power, electronically controlled driveline systems
and a fully updated suspension and braking package with a classic
