This custom 1960 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was professionally
built by renowned fabricator Joe Clevenger and is powered by a 2024
LT1 direct-injected 460hp engine paired with a 4-speed automatic
transmission. The engine features custom intake and coil pack
finishes designed to resemble an original-style fuel injection
system, and the engine bay is detailed with a smooth firewall to
complement the precision workmanship throughout. Updated fuel
system components and LED lighting support modern functionality,
while the undercarriage is ceramic-coated for heat management,
noise control and long-term protection. The car rides on an Art
Morrison C7 chassis engineered with a fully independent suspension
and power rack & pinion steering, providing a modern foundation
beneath the period-correct body. One-off custom wheels complete the
chassis and suspension package. Braking components are integrated
into the upgraded platform to match the vehicle's performance
capabilities. Exterior modifications include an extended firewall
that increases driver space while retaining the original
proportions and lines. The interior incorporates updated audio
components housed within an original-style Wonder Bar unit, Dakota
Digital instrumentation and refined cabin ergonomics. The interior
layout and components were selected to preserve its classic
appearance while benefiting from contemporary usability. The build
is documented with photos, manufacturer warranty information for
applicable components and detailed records of the custom work
performed under Clevenger's direction.
