This 1965 Superformance MKIII custom roadster by Taormina
represents a Superleggera roadster re-creation powered by a 427ci
V8 engine rated at 590hp and 550 ft/lbs of torque, paired with a
TKX 5-speed manual transmission and dual-disc clutch. Induction is
handled by a quad 48 IDA Weber carburetor setup. Chassis and body
features include front spoiler canards, a rear diffuser wing,
helmet-style rear deck diffuser and a lowered race-style
windshield, all configured to support high-speed and track-focused
performance. The car rides on ultra-light Taormina Superleggera
wheels with Toyo R888 tires for increased grip. It is finished in
Sterling Moss Silver (McLaren Silver) with a red stripe.
