Benefiting from a frame-off rotisserie restoration and long-term
30-year ownership, this custom 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is powered
by a 496/700hp big-block Chevrolet V8 engine with multi-port fuel
injection and a sheet-metal intake managed by a Holley Terminator X
Max system, backed by a Stage 4 4L80E automatic transmission with a
Circle D billet triple-disc lockup converter controlled by
electronic push-button shift on the console and paddle shifters.
Power is delivered through an aluminum Mark Williams driveshaft to
a built 12-bolt rear end with 3.50:1 gears, with exhaust routed
through long-tube headers and a custom 3-inch stainless-steel
exhaust system. Fuel is supplied by a stainless Rick's fuel tank
with dual fuel pumps, and cooling is handled by an aluminum
radiator with dual electric fans. The boxed frame provides added
strength, while hydro-boost brakes use a Wilwood master cylinder
feeding Wilwood 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers on
drilled and slotted rotors. The suspension has been completely
updated with QA1 tubular control arms and CPP spindles up front,
Currie billet control arms in the rear and QA1 adjustable coilover
shocks at all four corners. It rides on 20-inch Boze Clutch billet
wheels. Exterior modifications include a custom front bumper, rear
diffuser, Dapper Lighting halo headlights, custom front turn
signals, holographic taillights and flush-mount glass. The custom
interior features a redesigned dash with push-button starter,
forged-carbon inserts and a Holley 6.8-inch touchscreen Pro Dash,
along with a Flaming River steering column and a Vintage Air
climate-control system. Additional interior equipment includes
custom door panels, a console housing a touchscreen 6-speaker
stereo system with backup camera, suede headliner, rear seat and
package tray, Cadillac CTS-V front seats, power windows, power door
locks with keyless entry and all-new wiring throughout.
