This factory two-wheel-drive custom 1970 Chevrolet Blazer has just received a recent frame-off build with extensive custom refinements. It features a 1967-style front nose and Mar-K custom side molding and is finished in House of Kolor Tangelo Orange Pearl. The body has been carefully smoothed and detailed with custom touches that include a filled rain gutter, flush firewall, hidden wiring and air-conditioning lines, recessed fuel filler, smoothed tailgate, deleted side markers, and a smoothed cowl and dash plate. Additional exterior and hardware highlights include a boltless chrome front bumper, CVF billet hood hinges, Altman billet hood latch, Bear Claw door latches and power steering. Under the hood is a high-performance 454ci big-block Chevrolet V8 engine equipped with aluminum heads and intake, along with Sanderson ceramic-coated shorty headers flowing into MagnaFlow polished stainless-steel mufflers. Cooling and engine-bay presentation are enhanced with custom aluminum radiator and electric fan, Vintage Air billet aluminum front drive system and custom engine-bay panels. The cabin is fully custom, featuring black leather upholstery with houndstooth cloth inserts, a custom console, Classic Instruments gauges, chrome Ididit tilt steering column, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Vintage Air system, tinted glass and a Custom Autosound stereo. The single-wall top has been smoothed and painted white inside and out. Out back, the Blazer is fitted with a brand-new Motor City K5 rear hatch with gas struts. It rides on American Racing wheels, sized 20x8.5 in front and 20x10 in the rear, and benefits from a performance-minded chassis setup including tubular front control arms, front and rear coilover suspension, a 3.73 posi-traction rear gear and Wilwood master cylinder with four-wheel disc brakes.
