For Sale at Auction: 2008 Shelby GT in Scottsdale, Arizona
This 2008 Ford Shelby GT/SC Barrett-Jackson Edition convertible is
one of only 100 examples built and just one of 39 convertibles
produced. Converted by Shelby American in Las Vegas, it is
documented in the official Shelby Registry with a serialized dash
plaque and build number, confirming its authenticity. Power comes
from a 4.6-liter V8 engine upgraded with a Kenne Bell 2.8-liter
supercharger system, GT500 fuel pumps and high-performance tuning,
producing over 450hp. It is backed by an upgraded automatic
transmission and high-performance torque converter with cooler.
Additional performance enhancements include a Borla ATAK exhaust,
Kooks long-tube headers, Baer brakes and Steeda suspension
refinements with Pro Action shocks, billet lower control arms and
an adjustable Panhard bar. Finished in black clearcoat with red
Barrett-Jackson Le Mans stripes, the exterior details include
Shelby and Barrett-Jackson badging, hood scoop, billet grille and
20-inch Shelby CS 69 wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires. Inside, the
car features leather seating embroidered with Barrett-Jackson
logos, Carroll Shelby's signature on the seats, serialized Shelby
GT/SC steering wheel and Shelby gauges. The dashboard also bears
the signatures of Carroll Shelby, Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO
Craig Jackson and Barrett-Jackson President Steve Davis. **MAY NOT
