This custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a Brodix
aluminum-block V8 engine with a 4.12-inch bore, paired with a
Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes Oliver
billet crank and rods, Diamond pistons, a Comp billet hydraulic
roller cam, Comp Pro Magnum rockers, Isky lifters, APS sheet-metal
valve covers, a custom Hogan intake, BS3 EFI, custom turbo headers
and twin Precision 61mm turbochargers with Turbosmart 44mm
wastegates. Engine hardware uses ARP 12-point stainless fasteners,
and cooling is managed by a custom-size Ron Davis radiator with
dual 14-inch Spal fans and a Ron Davis intercooler. Power is
supported by an aluminum driveline and routed through the
drivetrain to a Currie aluminum center section with 4.10 gears. The
body features extensive metalwork, including welded edges for
consistent gaps, filled door locks, reworked quarter-panel pinch
welds, boxed wheel-lip modifications for tire clearance, and a
handmade lower rear panel with narrowed license plate opening and
diffuser-style billet inserts. The rear bumper has handmade
corners, narrowed license plate recess, filled holes and revised
mounts. The trunklid has welded gaps, an extended rear lip, a
Cadillac latch and covered spoiler-mount holes. The lowered rear
spoiler includes boxed quarter extensions, widened by half an inch
and converted to bolt mounting. Hinges were smoothed or boxed, with
new threaded pins and brass bushings installed, and a VW front hood
latch with cable release and Cadillac electric trunk latch are
fitted. The mirrors were revised with a relocated interior rearview
mount. Exterior modifications include Rosso Corsa Red paint,
deleted front valance recess, stainless mesh with trim, revised
turn-signal locations, and a reshaped front bumper with welded
studs and modified mounts. The fenders were widened 3/8 inch per
side, smoothed, extended, aligned to the rockers, countersunk at
mounts, reworked at the radiator support and firewall, and finished
with welded extensions. The header panel has a relocated grille
mount, tightened hood gap and filled emblem holes, and mounts were
welded for countersunk hardware. The grille was heat-shaped to
match the fenders with relocated supports. The hood features a
smoothed replacement inner structure, filled openings, epoxied
reinforcement and recontoured edges. The cowl panel is reworked
with filled vents and mounting holes, extended to fit the fenders,
braced at the windshield and matched to the firewall. The firewall
incorporates a DSE fill plate extended to the left side with all
dimples and openings filled, along with covers for body-to-subframe
mounts and a removed factory column brace. The front inner wheel
wells are mini-tubbed, raised, smoothed, redrilled for new mounting
points and modified for turbo clearance with extended sections to
align with relocated frame rails. Multiple seams - including
quarter-to-rocker, quarter-to-rear panel and rear window
panel-to-quarters - were welded, along with smoothed drip rails and
reworked rocker pinch welds. The trunk floor is raised 2.5 inches
with a new center section and bumper-bolt covers, and houses a DSE
battery mount. The exhaust system includes 321 stainless turbo
headers with Lateral Dynamics flanges, 304 stainless tubing with
Inconel flex sections, 3-inch pipes and hand-formed tips. A one-off
Rick's stainless stealth tank incorporates twin in-tank pumps and
filter with stainless hand-bent fuel lines. The interior includes a
matched rear-seat pattern, a center console with a QEM-style
shifter, Modo Innovations pedals, a Momo steering wheel, AutoMeter
gauges, Vintage Air Streamline controls, power windows, Bluetooth
audio, a JL 1000/1 sub amp, JL 450/4 amp, SI Mag 12-inch subwoofer
and Diamond Audio S500s and S600s component speakers. This Camaro
also features flush-mounted front and rear glass and dual Optima
Red Top batteries in the trunk with a cutoff switch.
