INTRODUCTION: Meticulous body off frame rotisserie restoration!
Completed in 2008 and it has lived a pampered life in one of the
most impressive private collections ever since. Only 60 miles on
this stunning restoration and it has been recently serviced.
Restored to factory specs including correct #s and codes. Very
desirable options list: The 350 HP was the highest HP you could get
air conditioning with. Coupled with a 4-speed and all the other
goodies this is one of the most desirable 1967 Chevelles available
anywhere!
EXTERIOR: It's a mirror on four wheels! This body is laser beam
straight with no rust or damage. According to the tag, it's code A
which is tuxedo black and it is painted so slick you could shave in
the reflection. This paint is 18 years old and looks like it was
done yesterday, that says a lot. Every single piece of chrome and
trim was replaced and sparkles! It has the optional bumper guards
and dual bowtie mirrors along with a correct antenna. The
windshield, all the weatherstrips and seals were replaced. It has a
power black convertible top that was completely restored including
the pump, weatherstrips etc. It's sitting on reproduction Wide Oval
red line tires wrapped around 14 inch rally wheels with sparkling
trim and the correct 1967 center caps. The headlights are even
reproduction T-3s!
INTERIOR: It's been completely restored back to factory condition!
In front of me is a pristine dash with all new factory gauges,
blinker tachometer, heater control panel, dash pad, all the chrome
trim and even the steering wheel has been replaced. Down on the
floor has fresh carpet and in between the bucket seats is a factory
console with a working clock and correct 4-speed shifter. The seats
have been reupholstered, the door panels, armrests and window
cranks have all been replaced. Even the mirror and the visors were
replaced. It has a new glovebox liner and the glovebox pouch with
the owner's manual. The wiring harness was replaced and the
interior lights work. Complete with seatbelts front and back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow is this detailed and full of desirable
factory options! I see power steering with the correct remote
reservoir, there's power brakes with a cadmium plated booster and
there's factory air conditioning that's recently been serviced. At
the heart of it is the 396 motor with the optional 350 hp. The
numbers and codes on the engine are correct for the car. It is
stock including the manifolds, chrome valve covers and air cleaner.
All of the components look fresh, proper and detailed. It has GM
reproduction hoses, clamps, shroud and cap. It's complete down to
the windshield squirters, hood insulation and working hood lamp. It
is very detailed, and looks like it was finished last night!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's like brand new in here too! Under the trunk
lid and the jamb are gloss black, inside is pristine metal with a
nicely applied spatter finish. It has a reproduction red line tire
on a new rally wheel and a restored jack assembly. It's complete
with a new weatherstrip, trunk mat, well liner and even the
stickers. The wiring has also been replaced and it has an optional
trunk light.
UNDERSIDE: The body was lifted off of the frame, flipped on a
rotisserie and the floors were prepped like brand new. They are
painted in the factory style primer and then clear coated for
protection. The entire chassis was disassembled, prepped, detailed
and rebuilt. It has the F-41 suspension which includes boxed rear
control arms, front and rear swaybars. The steering and suspension
was completely rebuilt. The brake system was completely rebuilt and
it features discs in front, the e-brake assembly and lines were
replaced. It has a factory correct dual exhaust system, the fuel
system was replaced including the tank and the lines. Looking up at
the motor it is spotless Chevy Orange with the correct starter and
canister type oil filter. The Muncie M21 4-speed trans has matching
#s and codes. A restored drive shaft leads back to the correct 12
bolt rear end with 3.73 posi gears.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: I won't use the word perfect but this one is among the
best in the country! It is highly detailed and looks very fresh.
The option list is unbeatable; a big block, 4-speed with a/c in a
convertible is highly desirable. There are others but they aren't
this car!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
