Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Younger enthusiasts may think of
the modern Dodge Challenger (2008-2023) when the moniker Demon is
mentioned, but Dodge had a quick Demon long ago that was based on
the Dart, a compact that was usually equipped for economy. Dodge's
hot version was the Demon 340, a potent but often overlooked muscle
machine. Well, Mopar fans, this 1971 Dodge may be nastiest 1st
generation Demon around. Lift the aggressively scooped and striped
hood and you'll find the POTENT 418 stroker (340+.040 bore and 4
stroke) that's overflowing with top-shelf components. The machined
340 block is filled with a Molnar forged 4130 4 stroker crankshaft
with forged billet rods and RaceTec pistons as well as a Bullet
race cam with Johnson lifters. The deep breathing beast is fed by a
Holley carburetor and Edelbrock RPM AirGap aluminum intake manifold
which send the mixture through the high flow Edelbrock aluminum
heads with Harland Sharp rockers and out through TTi ceramic coated
long tube headers. A high volume oil pump, FBO ignition, and a deep
sump Milodon oil pan complete this $25K engine build. Additional
features include power steering, power front disc brakes, A727
automatic transmission, 3.55 Sure-Grip rear end, rear spoiler,
custom console (replicating the previous owner's car) with
AM/FM/8-Track audio and CB radio, auxiliary gauges, and classic
rallye wheels shod with Cooper radials (235/60R15 F, 255/60R15 R).
There's really nothing like an overpowered muscle car to make you
feel like you're 16 again. Wheeee! On a more serious note, this gem
is truly fast and should only be driven by experienced Hoonigans.
If you find yourself possessed by this Demon, call the Texas Hill
Country's premier source for classic Mopars and the team that can
make your dream a reality. Preferred stock in tire company and Get
Out of Jail Free card not included. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is

insurance, and financing options.
