-Recently purchased from only it's believed second owner is this well-preserved, final year BJ8 in it's good original colors. This car has been stored indoors for about the past 30-40 years and was purchased by the seller in 1974 as a 7 year old used car with 58,692 miles on the odometer.
-It presents generally pretty good all over and is the perfect car to improve lightly both cosmetically and mechanically, without needing a full restoration.
-Body panels look very good and straight with excellent door shut/fit. Paintwork is of course older and showing some age, but looks genuine, very glossy, with a few touch-ups made. Chromework presents well and is all original to the car, as well as the original Triplex windshield.
-The car's interior trim is in very good original condition but would benefit from ae easy new carpet kit and a dash wood facia. The black crush grain vinyl soft top is good, but needs a new rear plastic window replaced. PLEASE SEE WALK AROUND VIDEO.
-Mechanically, the car's engine turns and is currently being soaked with penetrant, with further work to get it back up and running. It would need the usual fuel and brake system overhaul plus a new set of tires to get it back safely on the road.
-Overall, a very good original, few owners, low mileage final year BJ8 for easy improvement.
