1976 Chevrolet Corvette, a classic C3 with a numbers-matching 350
V8 engine and the original Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic
transmission. Featuring T-tops, power steering, power brakes, and
air conditioning that has been retrofitted to use modern R134A
refrigerant, which blows cold! The paint is Mahogany Metallic,
complemented by a Dark Firethorn interior with a center console
shifter between the two bucket sets. While the paint shows some
imperfections, it retains a nice shine. The car rides on radial
tires dated 2022, mounted on steel slotted wheels with beauty rings
and center caps. The interior is largely original, with minor wear
on the driver's seat bolster piping. Equipped with tilt and
telescoping steering column, an aftermarket AM/FM cassette stereo
(cassette functional, radio isn't getting reception). The T-tops
are removable and come with their own storage bags. Also included
are some new in the box parts and original owners manuals.
Additional notes include a door ajar light that stays on despite
the doors being closed. Functioning gagues including the fuel
gauge, oil pressure, temp, and battery charge indicator. New front
brake hoses have been installed. The V8 engine runs smoothly with a
nice exhaust note, and the car offers good throttle response and
acceleration. On the road this Corvette is balanced and confident,
with smooth braking, no pulling or pulsation, and flat cornering
typical of Corvettes.
