Step back into an era where style met soul-where every car told a
story and craftsmanship mattered. This 1964 Chevrolet Impala
Lowrider isn't just a custom build; it's a carefully curated piece
of lowrider culture, blending classic American design with modern
mechanical attention and documented recent investment.
Finished in teal green metallic paint with custom flake and
mystic-style striping, this Impala commands attention from every
angle. Chrome accents, gold engraving details, rear window louvers,
and dual antennas complete the look, giving it the unmistakable
presence only a true lowrider can deliver. This is a statement
car-built to be seen, respected, and enjoyed.
Inside, the cabin continues the theme with a minty teal vinyl
interior that complements the exterior perfectly. The front bucket
seats provide comfort and style, while the door panels, dash pad,
and headliner present a clean, cohesive custom aesthetic. Chrome SS
door emblems and engraved dash inserts add character, and a digital
speed display integrated into the original cluster brings subtle
modern functionality. Rear speakers are installed but currently
unhooked, allowing the next owner to tailor the audio system to
their preference.
Power comes from a built 283ci V8, featuring Trick Flow 175
aluminum heads, shorty headers, a polished aluminum intake, and an
Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor. The engine bay is finished with
chrome and polished components, braided lines, and upgraded
hardware throughout. Cooling is handled by a large aluminum
radiator with electric fan assist, and an Optima battery provides
reliable starting power.
The engine is paired with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission,
and power is sent to a Pitbull-style 9" rear end with a wishbone
upper link. Suspension duties are handled by a full hydraulic
setup, including four CCE Fuerte pumps powered by eight
trunk-mounted batteries, along with chrome undies and reinforced
control arms with powerballs for smooth, responsive movement. This
Impala benefits from recent, documented mechanical service
completed in December 2025, work performed included transmission
rebuild, carburetor tuning and ignition adjustment, door lock
replacement, Service receipts are on file, providing additional
confidence and transparency for the next owner.
