1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 4spd, RESTORED! Matching-number L35
396/325 HP engine, Real 138 code SS car. Correct 4-speed Muncie
manual transmission with factory Shifter. Equipped with new Vintage
Air AC (blows cold). Beautiful restoration of a very straight,
clean car. Factory correct color combination, Emerald Turquoise
with Turquoise interior, that stand out among all the red, black
and blue Chevelle's out there. Muncie 4-speed gearbox that's not
only fun to throw, but absolutely bulletproof. The Chrome
bumpers/handles/trim are in great condition with a shine that
requires sunglasses. The stainless trim around the windows has just
as high of shine to match the chrome. All new 'Super Sport'
emblems, as well as the 'SS 396' badges on the rear end, completes
the high-performance badging. The Turquoise bucket seat interior is
beautifully done, with correct seat covers, new carpets, tilt
steering column and lots of new shiny trim. The dashboard and
instruments are clean and clear and they all work, fuel, temp,
speedo, oil pressure and volts gauges. Aftermarket tach mounted to
the left of the steering column. A vintage looking radio fit's
nicely in its factory opening, but this one's modern and packs a
much better sound than the original. New carpets, "Chevelle"
embossed floor mats, new bright work throughout the dash and
interior, clean center console, newer seat belts, unblemished
steering wheel w/color matching grip add to the well sorted
interior. The back seat is completely unused and the trunk is
tastefully outfitted with an original style rubber mat, spare tire
and tool. This car is powered by its original, numbers-matching 396
big block L35 engine, casting # 3902406 with a suffix of EH ( 325
HP ) which is still a pretty stout piece. That means torque, lots
of effortless, mountainous torque! 12 Bolt CK Code 3:31 posi rear
and axle number "CF 0928". Engine code of "T060EH" (June 2nd ) Body
date code of "06C" ( 3rd week of June ) It starts easily, idles
well, and has great street manners. It was rebuilt to stock specs.
but is equipped with a few upgrades to improve it's user
experience. Included upgrades are: Edelbrock intake & carb along
with an HEI Ignition and Vintage air. It's also nicely dressed with
correct Chevy Orange paint, chrome valve covers, correct air
cleaner with decals. Power steering and non-power front disc
brakes. Underneath, it's clean and straight. The floors are clean,
the frame and all suspension pieces are clean, solid and smooth.
They've all been painted, and the bushings replaced at the time of
restoration. The Muncie 4-speed (code P7H01) was rebuilt and tucked
back into place, and the original cast iron exhaust manifolds feed
the Flowmaster dual exhaust system that sounds awesome. It's also
wearing original style 15-inch Rally wheels with new polished
stainless steel trim rings, wrapped in BF Goodrich radial tires
225/70 R15 on all four corners. These are popular cars and it's
easy to see why. This one gets big points for its matching-numbers
Big Block engine, True SS 138 code VIN, 4-speed transmission,
Bucket seats, AC and RARE correct color and totally sorted road
manners. 36,985 miles on the odometer and approximately 5,000 miles
on the restoration.
