Up for sale to the public for the first time in over 65 years is a real survivor 1931 Model A hot rod. Built in1962 in San Leandro, California by Paul Ferreira. The car was painted with a lacquer Orange using a Hoover vacuum system then taken over to Tommy the Greek to have it pinstriped which is still on the car along with the same lacquer paint from 62. A 283 small block motor that’s in the vehicle running 6 stromberg 97’s. It has an early mor-drop front axle that’s been chromed, a 55 Chevy rear end and chromed Buick finned brakes. The American racing wheels have also been on the car since the early 60’s. The car comes with its top frame but one of the bows are cracked. Aside from the electric fan, spark plug wires, overflow tank, headers and the automatic transmission that was swapped in place of the 4 speed, this car is an untouched piece of hot rodding history. This car has never been available to the public. It’s super important whoever the next caretaker is to please keep it as is with the exception of possibly putting a 4 speed back in it.
