1977 Pontiac Astre Wagon — Rare Final-Year GM Compact Wagon
Low-mile survivor project with approximately 61,000 miles.
Non-running and has been sitting for years.
1977 was the final production year for the Pontiac Astre and the only year equipped with the GM 2.5L Iron Duke. Production numbers were low for the wagon body style in ’77, and examples in mostly original condition are rarely seen today — especially with low mileage.
Body presents straight for its age with no structural rust observed and roughly five small exterior surface rust spots. Floors, rockers, and rails appear solid. Interior is original and complete. Glass and trim are intact.
Ideal candidate for mechanical recommission, period-correct driver restoration, Malaise-era/Radwood build, or collector preservation. Iron Duke parts availability is good compared to most small Pontiac engines of the era.
Clean title.
Located in Nashville, TN.
Vehicle is non-running and has been in storage for years; buyer should plan for winch/flatbed transport.
