Engine & Transmission: Collector owned. The 3.0-liter flat-six engine runs strong and is very nice. The car has a 5-speed manual transmission and shifts very smoothly. The underside of the car is clean. Mechanicals are very well sorted. It delivers power whenever you need it. A/C.
Body: The body panels are all straight with no waviness. All glass is in great shape. Is has benefited from a high quality re-spray in the original color of Slate Blue Metallic (661). The paint is extremely nice even up close. I could only find three blemishes, one on front right fender (see video), a second on the driver side rear fender and a 3rd above the driver door, see video for close-ups. No road blast. The rubber is good, lenses are clear. Chrome Fuchs alloy wheels. The car is kept in a heated/carpeted garage.
Interior: The leather interior is very clean. Driver seat is free of any wear marks. All doors are excellent, power windows. The dash and instruments work as they should. Great carpets. Blaupunkt Ventura CD83 CD player. Sunroof works as new (see video).
Summary: The collector of this car is keen on keeping his cars mechanically solid for use. This is a nice example of a classic 911 SC the last year they were built. Perfect for cruising and taking to car shows. A joy to own and drive.
