For Sale at Auction: 1972 Ford F250 in Scottsdale, Arizona

This custom 1972 Ford F-250 Highboy pickup just underwent a no-expense-spared professional nut-and-bolt frame-off restoration with attention to detail throughout. It is powered by a new 460ci V8 engine featuring a Howard's billet hydraulic roller cam, forged pistons, Trick Flow aluminum 429 Cobra Jet heads, Ford Racing valve covers and a billet serpentine front drive. The engine is mated to a C6 3-speed automatic transmission with a Hughes converter, and a divorce-mounted Dana 24 transfer case. The laser-straight body is finished in Sikkens Azure Gray and Wimbledon White paint. Some of the custom metalwork includes a smoothed firewall and hidden fuel filler. The frame was sandblasted and powder-coated black. The axles have been completely rebuilt with all the best parts and feature 4.10 gears front and rear. The suspension features a 4-inch suspension lift and four-wheel power disc brakes using a Wilwood master cylinder. It rides on 17-inch custom painted wheels with dog-dish hubcaps mounted with 35x12.50 BFGoodrich KM3 Mud-Terrain tires. All the factory trim was polished to a show-quality finish. This pickup has all-new bumpers, emblems, glass and seals. Other highlights include a Vintage Air climate-control system, a custom welded exhaust system, stainless-steel fuel tank, a Performance Rod & Custom aluminum radiator, stainless-steel headers, stainless-steel brake lines, E-Stopp emergency brake, Dakota Digital gauges, color-matched tilt column topped with a Sparc Industries steering wheel and a RetroSound stereo system. This Highboy has a custom leather interior finished in Mercedes Benz Tobacco, done by award-winning Jon Lind Interiors. The dash, door panels, headliner and steering wheel are wrapped in leather as well. This show-quality build was done using the best available modern technology while keeping vintage design in mind.
