This 2020 Ford Shelby GT500KR is powered by a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It began as a Carbon Fiber Track Pack-equipped GT500 before being sent to Shelby American for the KR upgrade, further enhanced with additional components that increase output to 1,013 rear-wheel horsepower. The transmission was tuned to match the upgraded powertrain, and the car is equipped with Toyo R888R tires for added grip. KR features include the upgraded supercharger system, enhanced cooling, carbon-fiber hood and aero components, performance exhaust and KR-specific wheels.
