This 1972 Chevrolet K10 custom pickup is powered by a fresh
Chevrolet 383ci V8 engine backed by a Turbo 350 automatic
transmission and a GM NP205 transfer case. It is equipped with Dana
axles and new Warn locking hubs, and features power steering and
power disc brakes. The truck received a full frame-off restoration,
during which the body was removed, painted piece by piece,
reassembled and finished in Fire Red using PPG materials. The
underside of the cab was coated with LizardSkin and set back onto
the restored frame with Energy Suspension body mounts and bushings.
The engine bay is highly detailed and features custom Chevrolet
retro valve covers, an Edelbrock 650-cfm carburetor mounted to an
aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, and an aluminum three-core
radiator with dual electric cooling fans. The custom interior is
finished in Colorado Stone and includes custom-wrapped door panels,
steering wheel and sun visors, along with a matching
custom-bolstered seat featuring integrated cup holders. Additional
details include Fawn carpet, matching kick panels, a Pioneer stereo
system and Kicker speakers. All-new smoked glass was installed
during the restoration, along with all-new seals, chrome and trim.
The bed is finished with a custom walnut wood floor. A custom-built
Ron Woods driveshaft was installed to accommodate the Rough Country
lift kit, along with new stainless-steel braided brake lines. The
truck rides on new KMC Grenade beadlock wheels wrapped in TIS tires
and is equipped with a new Flowmaster chambered exhaust system.
