This custom 1972 Ford Bronco is powered by a 302ci 4V V8 engine
paired with a Toploader 3-speed manual transmission, Dana 44 front
axle and 9-inch rear end with 3.50 locking differential. The 4V
carburetor has been rebuilt, and the truck features long-tube
headers, oversized aluminum radiator, high-torque mini starter and
a single-wire high-output alternator. It rides on a heavy-duty lift
kit with Rancho 5000 shocks, Mickey Thompson 15-inch wheels with
faux beadlocks wrapped in new BFGoodrich 33x12.50x15 tires.
Stopping power comes from a new brake master cylinder, booster,
proportioning valve, calipers, rotors, hoses and fluid. Additional
features include power steering, dual-range transfer case with
vintage Tom's Offroad shift handles, MM locking front hubs, dual
fuel tanks, swing-away spare tire carrier, receiver hitch and
custom bumpers. The fiberglass cowl-induction hood is finished in
white with a ceramic coating for protection. The interior features
newly upholstered seats, new carpeting and a family-style roll bar
under a Bestop soft-top. This Bronco is equipped with the
one-year-only Explorer/Sport option package, and it is finished in
Golden Rod Yellow.
