This custom 1970 Plymouth Duster is powered by a built, date-coded
340ci V8 engine equipped with an Edelbrock 650-cfm 4-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock Air Gap aluminum intake, Comp camshaft,
factory exhaust manifolds, MSD 6AL ignition, Mopar Performance
valve covers, billet pulleys and an aluminum radiator with shroud.
Power is sent through a Brewer's Performance dual-friction clutch
and a 4-speed manual transmission operated by a Hurst shifter to a
powder-coated braced 8.75-inch rear axle with a 3.73 True Trac
differential. The chassis is configured with Wilwood four-wheel
disc brakes, KYB shocks at all four corners, frame ties and 17x8
billet Rally wheels fitted with Toyo performance tires, size
315/35R17 in the rear and 225/45R17 in the front. The exterior is
finished in factory-correct FC7 In-Violet metallic with black
striping and features dual chrome mirrors and a dual snorkel hood.
The interior features houndstooth bucket seats, factory tach and
gauges, a RetroSound radio, a remote driver's mirror and
restoration-correct components throughout. Documentation includes
restoration receipts detailing new weatherstripping, dash bezels,
mirrors, seat tracks, brake cables and additional components from
suppliers that include Brewer's Performance, Wilwood, Year One and
Classic Industries. This vehicle has approximately 50 miles since
completion of its professional rotisserie restoration.
