This custom 1964 Chevrolet Impala is powered by an LS fuel-injected
engine, extensively hand-engraved along with the radiator, brake
and power-steering hardware, A-arms, rims, dash, moldings, handles,
trim, bumpers, custom ragtop trim and hydraulic pumps. Power is
sent through a 4-speed automatic transmission. This 15-year build
involved over 500 man-hours of engraving before professional
reassembly. Finished in Pure White with a matching white interior,
the exterior features metallic flake pinstriping, ceramic coating
and functional custom suicide doors. Equipped with a hydraulic
suspension capable of front, back, side-to-side and pancake action
with no three-wheel motion. Features include chrome four-wheel ABS
brakes, chrome rear end, wishbone suspension, lower A-arms,
chrome-skinned gas tank, Vintage Air climate-control system and
Dakota Digital dashboard. The custom interior hosts dual
amplifiers, JL W3 subwoofers, 14 speakers, Bluetooth connectivity
and custom blue accent lighting throughout the cabin, engine bay
and grille. This car was First Place winner at the Houston Lowrider
Show, with the trophy included in the sale.
