This custom 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air underwent a comprehensive
ground-up restoration with every component inspected, replaced or
refurbished. It is powered by a professionally built BluePrint
383ci small-block engine producing 430hp and 450 ft/lbs of torque,
equipped with Holley Sniper 2 fuel injection, Hedman headers, MSD
ignition control and a March Performance pulley system. Power is
delivered through a professionally built 700R4 automatic
transmission to a posi-traction 3.23 rear end. The chassis features
CPP front suspension with 2-inch drop spindles, CPP steering
column, front sway bar, power steering and four-wheel disc brakes.
It rides on BFGoodrich whitewall tires. The interior, finished by
Ciadella, includes a Vintage Air climate-control system, modern
gauges, power windows and all-new wiring throughout. The exterior
wears two-tone paint applied after hundreds of hours of body
preparation. It was originally built in Oakland, CA, on November 2,
1954. Approximately 2,600 miles have been added since the
restoration, and receipts and build photos are included.
