This custom four-wheel-drive 1959 Willys Jeep two-door wagon is
powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine mated to a 5-speed manual
transmission. It was fully restored and professionally built in
2024. It is equipped with a Rubicon "Rock-Trac" transfer case,
Rubicon Dana 44 front and rear axles with air lockers, and an
on-board compressor. The frame has been reconstructed and
strengthened to accept up-to-date suspension, while the drivetrain
and the front of the frame extended to accept and support a Warn
10,000-pound winch. It features a heavy-duty leaf spring suspension
with performance Fox Shocks, four-wheel power disc brakes and
close-ratio power steering, and rides on BFGoodrich Mud Terrain LT
285/75/R17 tires mounted on Wheel Vintiques steel wheels painted to
match the roof. It has a 5,000-pound trailer hitch is complete with
wiring, a brake control and built-in backup lights. The chrome and
stainless trim has been replated and restored, and it has new
tinted glass and rubber weatherstripping throughout. Exterior
features include a 100% steel body finished in vintage color paint,
a vintage roof rack, and bumpers that have been modified and tucked
in. A sound-deadener was applied on the firewall and floor. The
interior is equipped with new seats upholstered with vintage
appearance, tweed carpet, authentic oak trim, a black cloth
headliner, modified dash with modern gauges, Ididit tilt steering
column with a period 1940s Ford steering wheel and a hidden remote
sound system with Bluetooth.
